AI readiness
Help every member business use AI well.
Your members are already trying AI. The AI-Ready Member program, designed with Alexander Labs, gives them a clear path from first experiments to responsible everyday use — and gives your chamber a credential worth displaying on the directory.
Three levels
Aware. Applied. Accountable.
Each level pairs practical training with a short set of commitments the business makes and renews each year.
Level 1: Aware
What AI can and can’t do, how to check its work, and what not to paste into it.
DesignedLevel 2: Applied
Using AI in daily work: writing, customer service, marketing and simple automation.
DesignedLevel 3: Accountable
A written AI policy, data rules, human review of customer-facing work, and disclosure to customers.
Designed
What a business commits to
Five commitments, renewed every year.
- A written policy for how the business uses AI
- Clear rules for customer and employee data
- A person reviews AI output before customers see it
- Customers are told when they’re dealing with AI
- Staff complete the training for their level
In collaboration with Alexander Labs
Built with an AI lab down the road, not a vendor across the country.
Alexander Labs, which describes itself as Pennsylvania’s first AI incubator, is based in Allentown and works with local businesses, students and universities on practical AI. We’re designing the program with them so the training is hands-on and local.
What it is and isn’t
A credential for learning and commitment — not an audit.
AI-Ready Member is a training and attestation credential. It shows a business completed the training for its level and made the commitments above. It is not an audit, a certification of any AI system, or a guarantee of how a business uses AI. The program is designed and will launch with the first chambers on a trial.
